Saturday Sketch Club

Escape the weekly grind and connect with your creative and local community in Rolleston!

The Saturday Sketch Club offers a relaxed, drop-in style home studio where adults can come together, make art and build meaningful friendships. No pressure, no judgement, just a group of people enjoying a creative morning. Come for the art, stay for the conversation.

EVERY SATURDAY FROM 10:00 - 11:30AM

START DATE: 15th of August 2026

In this 6-week course, students will observe and draw everyday objects, while learning essential drawing skills of texture and value.

Perfect for beginners who want to improve their observation skills and creativity at the same time.

Next course: Monday 5th of October 2026

A pencil sketch of an old antique key.
An antique metal key with an oval-shaped bow and a double-sided, notched blade, placed against a plain white background.
A pencil sketch of a still life of a wooden block with a key on top, a leaf and a pumpkin.
A black and white photograph of a flower sculpture made of various objects. The flower petal appears to be crafted from a piece of wood or metal, and the flower's stem is made from a curved metal wire. The flower is mounted on a stone base, with some small metal rings and objects near it. The background is plain and the lighting highlights the texture of the materials.

ART CLASSES

Painting of a close-up of a bat's face, featuring large eye, elongated nose, and furry textures with a teal background.
